Bibliographic List members,

Although I have said I would not write software ( I achieved a 50% score in my
IT programming class) I have relented and and bought python manual and
hacked Michael Sowka's RISImport.py programme to export the bibliographic
database in RIS format.

This is my first python program and so probably has many limitations, and it
has passed only one test - I could export my OpenOffice bibliographic
database to RIS and import it into Zotero and most of the data seems to
there.

I have made my best guess at the mapping of OOo database columns to RIS tags
and would welcome any suggestions on how to make it better.

For details see http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRISExport.py

regards

David Wilson
