Hello all, I would like to bring to your attention *BIP-003: Backpressure Handling Strategy in MQTT Broker(* https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/BIFROMQ/BIP-003-Backpressure+Handling+Strategy+in+MQTT+Broker *)*, which was drafted based on a user’s production experience with BifroMQ. The user has observed the issues described in the proposal and is willing to *follow through on implementing* this proposal.
I believe this is a valuable improvement to our broker’s robustness in large-scale environments, and I’d like to initiate a discussion around: - Any feedback or concerns from the community about the proposed changes - The feasibility and roadmap/timeline for implementation - Potential impacts on existing clients and backward compatibility - Testing and validation strategies If there are no objections or major revisions, I can volunteer to coordinate or contribute to the implementation.
