Thanks Calvin for the quick review and the feedback. You’re right — the Windows zip is mostly a legacy artifact. There’s no native/JNI code, and the differences are essentially limited to the bin scripts. After this release, we plan to start a discussion in the community about merging the Windows zip and tar.gz, and moving to a single tar.gz distribution going forward.
