I'm actually hoping to make more progress on BIGTOP-39 this week, although that
effort is mainly focussed on packaging the command-line tools for working with
Avro datasets. Harmonizing the versions of the libraries between components has
been discussed, but would probably need to be coordinated with upstream
projects and would be a much bigger undertaking - I'm guessing there are
reasons they don't all just track the latest release...
