Thanks all for your input, Bruno and Sean! One thing that we all agree on is
that this JIRA is not the right platform for discussing and solving the larger
problem at hand. So, I am going to mark this as Won't Fix and use a wiki page
or mailing list to discuss further. Thanks again!
