Just one thought:  We've not defined the BOM for 0.8, which may or may not 
support IBM Java as well.  We should try to include its detection as well.  It 
is packaged much like openJDK, so its well behaved in the packaging sense using 
alternatives and setting the correct symlinks to /usr/java/default
