WRT to RHEL5, it is getting a bit long in the tooth, but that said, I think it
is best to make #3 option and deprecate it in this release, meaning no RHEL5
support in 0.9. Besides RHEL7 is coming down the pike, like SLES 12.
The challenge is python 2.x vs 3.x support when these land in the public. Not
sure if this will have any impact on us in the future.
This has a doc impact and if this is the direction people want to go, a big fat
warning should go out with the release notes.
