So to clarify the Hadoop version we are using, we have a patch already on
BIGTOP-1184 that bumps it to 2.2.0. Accepting 2.2.x is congruent with the
discussion above on this issue. We might want to ask Hadoop to release 2.2.1
from branch-2.2.1 since it contains several important bug fixes.
