And here is some Accumulo packaging. Some notes:
* No tests yet - just posting for review and feedback in the interim.
* It's intended for Accumulo 1.6.0, for which RC-5 is currently up for vote
(I'm going to +1 it as soon as I'm done typing this). Until it is released
you'll need to download the source tarball manually.
* Accumulo 1.6.0 is intended for Hadoop 2.2.0 and ZooKeeper 3.3.6, although
I've built it against Hadoop 2.3.0 and ZooKeeper 3.4.5 and run it against
various 2.x versions.
* I've built this on Fedora 20 and Ubuntu 12.04, and run it on CenOS 6.2 and
Ubuntu 12.04 in pseudo-distributed mode. On each system I've done some basic
CRUD operations, but no extensive testing beyond that.
* Very similar packages have been tested more extensively, as it's based on the
Accumulo 1.4.4 packaging used in connection with a Certain Distribution of
Hadoop. The most recent difference is the removal of the logger role and
related directories as that is no longer in Accumulo.
I'll update this thread when I add some packaging tests and when I have done
more testing of Accumulo as packaged.
