Aha ! Got more time to look into it. It looks like BIGTOP-895 has upgraded the
tests, such that they are fit to pass on newer hadoop versions (POST 2.0.3)
I have built bigtop from the 0.7.0 release, which is == 2.0.3.
Thus, there are incompatibilities in the file system shell API between 2.0.3 ,
I think... and 2.1+.
[~mbukatov] I think you are testing on a newer version of hadoop (which is
fine).
Thus, I guess Im pretty close to +1 this patch: Its obvious that the few (7%)
of failures I get are simply because I'm running the CLI tests on hadoop 2.0.3
.
Does anyone else have any other thoughts on it? If not I ca commit it tomorrow
after I give a final quick look to the patch.
