Actually it was a great community effort - I was just a nag in the shoe mostly... ;)
I am pushing around the last bits like finalizing the artifactory repo (looks like it just got completed) and pushing the packages to s3 (thanks for a bit of hand-holding Roman!). So, with any luck I will formally announce the release tomorrow. It'd be great to make an official ASF Bigtop blog (or two) about it perhaps? Any volunteers?
