[~oflebbe] Thanks. Right now packaging rpm works fine for me.
1. How about adding TEZ_CONF_DIR and tez-site.xml? for instance,
/usr/lib/tez/conf -> /etc/tez/conf and /etc/tez/conf/tez-site.xml
2. Excluding war for tez-ui is intentional?
