I'm not sure why they stopped publishing the assembly in maven. The individual
jars have been there for a few versions.
For applications that want to upgrade from Spark 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 or 1.2.1, the
dependencies will have to be changed to reference individual jars. Note that
if you look at the Databricks example apps, they all use the individual jars.
