The only reason used to be that ASF INFRA didn't provide any self-service infrastructure for spinning VMs or containers. Now that Docker has been deployed on ASF slaves -- we should totally explore that option. One word of caution though: Bigtop CI pipeline is pretty resource heavy. Thanks, Roman.
