At the moment the only {{subst}} operation that gradle build recognizes is from
{{-}} to {{.}}. However, in some cases we might want to have more complex
substitutions to be done, e.g. when building against a snapshot version of a
component. In such the case we might need to replace "-SNAPSHOT" with something
else or completely remove it.
