Andrew and a few other folks have pointed out Joseph Adler's work on eventsim [1], a MIT licensed web traffic event simulator for creating fake log data. Ted Dunning also pointed Joseph to our work.
I tried to reach out to Joseph via twitter and linkedin, but I didn't get a response. I was hoping we could at least discuss approaches and learn from one another or see if he was interested in collaborating to add his code to the BigTop Data Generators.
