I wouldn't read too much into this. Hadoop summit crowd is very opinionated about the Summit topic. If guess if it isn't YARN related deployment - there's no chance to get it in ;) Here's the bright side: the provisioner technology we have is perhaps the most convenient way for a developer types to spin a cluster. I am looking around at all these VM-based sandboxes and the mere sight of it really pains me. So, cheer up and submit the talk to ApacheCon in Canada!
