need help with JIRA BIGTOP-2266

Jira https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-2266 is still in "patch
available" state whereas its other two siblings JIRAs (BIGTOP-2264,
BIGTOP-2265) have been promoted to "RESOLVED" state. Would appreciate a
review..
