We are quickly approaching the goals of the bigtop-1.2 release.
Only few issues remain, see Meta Ticket BIGTOP-2282.
I like to have a call for volunteers to be the release manager of
Bigtop-1.2. See

I really have to decline to be the release manager for myself. This is
nearly the last day I can spend a reasonable amount of time into this
project.

PS: bigtop/slaves docker images are updated again and pushed to
dockerhub right now.
Since nobody objected, I disabled ubuntu-14.04 from the CI .
