Hi Andrew,

thanks for reaching out to Bigtop. I reviewed the information you supplied and
I feel a bit lost.

We are already using a static site generate (mvn site plugin) and uploading
this to
https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/staging/bigtop/trunk/content
<https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/staging/bigtop/trunk/content>
manually. I remember
I remember the last one is a bit a pain since one needs proper access rights to
do this and this involves to locally overwrite the adress and add credentials.
(We do not use subversion for anything but this)

I would very much prefer to have a jenkins job: Checking out git master,
running mvn site and uploading the content of the target/site directory to the
final destination. There is no need for a staging environment since one can
test changes locally (Our website is about 60 files, that’s it). I may have to
remove some obsolete info first, but it works for now.

How can we do the „uploading to final destination“ ? I suppose we are not the
first one doing this. I suppose this is the pysubpub thing but all I can find
is „your" page
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Building+and+deploying+web+sites+with+PyPubSub%2C+Jenkins%2C+and+Buildbot#BuildinganddeployingwebsiteswithPyPubSub,Jenkins,andBuildbot-MavenSitePlugin

<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Building+and+deploying+web+sites+with+PyPubSub,+Jenkins,+and+Buildbot#BuildinganddeployingwebsiteswithPyPubSub,Jenkins,andBuildbot-MavenSitePlugin>
 .

Where can we start from ?

Best,
Olaf
