I missed the BOF then. Can you elaborate the conclusions/ideas that result from the session?

It was a very small BOF just with Peter Juergen and Lars Nooden. There was
three main reasons:
- there was a rather more interesting talk about ODF on the next room
- the conference wasn't really that highly attended. So I think it was worth
it, since it wasn't really a speech but a real conversation.
- Also remember this project is catalog as dead since the title was
"Reviving".

I am rather optimistic that if we get to perform the ideas on the project,
we might have a chance to spur the interest of the rest of the community. I
will dedicate more time to blog about bizdev and hopefully create interest
outside of the main site.

Hello Alexandro,

good news if that sparks a little the bizdev project.

BTW, who was in the "conversation"? Could you share with the list that
information, pls?
I'm a little concerned about how many people is really interested in
that project.

TIA

Best Greetings,

Ramon

Hi I just want to give a headsup on the conversation that we had at this
year OOoCon under the BoF "Reviving the BizDev project". We talked about
the
ideas that have been posted on this list:

    - Assign a structure
    - Refresh the list
    - Webinars
    - Document success stories

The conversation produced the following ideas:

    - GIT or Mercurial to mantain distributed projects
    - Marketplace of skills
    - Drupal or other sites
    - Acreditation body for certification (Certification project)
    - Help companies document their cases
    - Wiki FAQ for helping document Biz Cases.
    - Webinars

I hope the recording will add more context to the conversation.
