You'll need to specify the `--system-site-packages` when creating the virtualenv: virtualenv --system-site-packages bloodhound The file installer/README.rst in the 0.5.3 release has been updated with this detail. The wiki page (1) hasn't yet been updated. In a different thread this was discussed, it sounded like we wanted to investigate other potential solutions for the issue.
