I believe we should stick to the syntax. Intertrac links are essentially links to products we track but are externally hosted. They were often used for mock multi-product environments by linking several single-product trac instances to my knowledge.
As such, a user could be expected to add what to them looks like a product in Bloodhound for each Intertrac product they'd like to track. The Intertrac prefix is the product prefix, the full name is the product name. All that's missing is the url. Maybe this can be done via an option like the below in the product setup: [ x ] externally hosted URL: [ ] The hack here is that when a user sets up a new product, they're either creating an actual product or an Intertrac link that gets displayed similar to a product, depending on whether they check the "externally hosted" option. Hope that makes sense :-) On 30 May 2013 12:08, Anze Staric <[email protected]> wrote: > The proposed syntax for product-aware ticket links (#proda-123) has a > problem, it currently does not resolve to tickets in product context > as #proda-123 is a valid form of a intertrac ticket link > (#[a-zA-Z.+-]*?[0-9]+). > > I can think of two possible workarounds.
