Hello Dammina, Thanks for your interest in the project.
The main areas that need attention at the moment from my point of view are in the infrastructure and administration of the project's main site and demo sites. The main site at https://issues.apache.org/bloodhound/ is currently unavailable and I am going to try and get that resolved over this weekend. The demo sites are getting constantly spammed and become unresponsive. So we need to come up with a solution to that. The main site is also not on the latest version and needs to be upgraded and changed to make use of the multi product support in version 0.8. Until the main site is available it would be useful for prospective contributors to get some familiarity with the Trac project and their site here https://trac.edgewall.org has lots of information to help with that. I will post an update when I have more information on the status of the main site.
