Hi everyone, While we have been happy to have apache bloodhound mirrored with git and including a presence on github, one thing we don't seem to have taken much notice of is whether we should encourage the use of git for contributing.
I am going to go with the assumption that accepting git as a means to contribute will be another way to reduce barriers to participation. I have not yet looked into how other projects make use of this when they retain the asf subversion repositories as the primary repository but I assume that it will be possible to document and/or automate processes around this. If anyone wants to contribute to this, that would be useful. Cheers, Gary
