Thomas Bouron updated BROOKLYN-575: ----------------------------------- Description: This is an idea for [Google Summer of Code|https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/] (GSOC). h1. Issue The currently Brooklyn UI is getting old and lagging behind the newest changes made into the REST API. It would need an overhaul to refresh it and more importantly, use the newest technologies out there in terms of front-end dev. h1. Proposal Rewrite the Brooklyn UI to match closely the novelties introduced recently on the REST API. The goal is to achieve feature parity between the old and this new UI: * Dashboard view * In-depth view * Composer view * Catalog view * REST API view This would obviously be done in JS but the frameworks (both JS and CSS) are free to choose. This would be a good opprotunity to go wild and try different ideas (either technical or design) as well as unit tests if time allows it. The only requirement is to use the Brooklyn colour palette.
