Hello Brooklyners, Forwarding this from Infra just for your information.
Kind regards Geoff ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Daniel Gruno <[email protected]> Date: Tue, 29 Mar 2022 at 19:33 Subject: [NOTICE] Writable git repository service migration, Sunday April 3rd 20:00 UTC To: <[email protected]> Hello, Apache projects, On Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at 20:00 UTC, we will be performing a migration of our read/write git repository services (gitbox.apache.org), moving it to state-of-the-art hardware and enabling new self-serve features such as private repositories for PMCs and a smoother account linking flow. We expect this migration to be close to seamless and only require a few minutes worth of downtime, but it may take up to an hour or two before we get everything ready. During this downtime, projects are of course still free to use GitHub for their commit activities, but should keep in mind that commit emails will be slightly delayed during this phase. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in this matter, and hope you will enjoy our new service offerings. If you have any questions or feedback both before and after this migration, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at: [email protected] With regards, Daniel, on behalf of the ASF Infrastructure Team.
