For sonatype snapshots, mostly agree. They certainly aren't needed for
getting brooklyn snapshots. It could be useful for snapshots of other projects.
I'll delete it.
The docs deserve a thorough review. That includes for the `release.md`
file, which will be incorrect for apache.
