    good fix -- showing a tile for each version in the wizard was awful
    
    however i don't like adding dropdowns etc unless we really need them.  
arguably the wizard interface never asks you (use yaml if you want a 
non-standard version) -- but anything is an improvement over the 
one-tile-per-version!
    
    can we make the dropdown so it only shows if there is more than one (that 
should be easy, no?), and it's populated with the default?
    
    also note that the default is the highest **non-snapshot** version -- 
`CatalogItemComparator` sorts this, so you should be able just to take the 
first in the list.
