@wwbmmm We plan to handle #3432 in a follow-up PR. We're currently testing the common handshake approach internally with RDMA and UBShm. For URMA, we'd like to get this PR merged first, since the handshake work will depend on how this PR progresses. Once this is merged, we plan to move the URMA handshake to the common handshake framework as well.
