### What problem does this PR solve? Issue Number: resolve Problem Summary: ### What is changed and the side effects? Changed: Recent macOS builds fail with newer OpenSSL headers because `X509_get_subject_name()` and `X509_NAME_get_entry()` may return const pointers, while `ExtractHostnames()` stores them in mutable pointer types. The build also reports a variable-length array warning in percentile sample merging. The array size is determined at runtime through `DEFINE_SMALL_ARRAY`, which relies on a Clang extension.
