Quick update... the release is currently held up by specs failing under JRuby.
I first tried JRuby 1.1.6 (which I used during the last release) and noted 15 specs failing. Then I tried JRuby 1.3.1 and noted 7 specs failing with this version. I have no idea where the failures come from and I'm attacking each one by one with a focus on JRuby 1.3.1 -- which I assume to be more stable/error-free than 1.1.6. If any of you want to give a hand or if you have an opinion on which JRuby version we should support, jump in!
