You may have noticed that JIRA is only allowing project contributors and committers to log JIRA cases. Apache infrastructure have imposed this temporary measure in response to a spam attack across all projects.
That said, we want all legitimate community members to be able to log JIRA cases, not just committers. If you are having difficulty logging a JIRA case, please send a message to this list, and we will work something out, such as giving you access rights as a contributor. Julian
