+1 Downloaded, checked hashes, license, notice, built & ran tests on JDK 1.8/Mac OS.
Also checked that Calcite’s driver builds & works with new API. I noticed that the release notes are now in long-form and do not have a bulleted list of bugs/features fixed. My preference would be to keep the bulleted list (with brief intro) in the release notes and put the long-form stuff in a news item announcing the release.
