Apache Calcite's Project Management Committee (PMC) has invited Slim Bouguerra to become a committer, and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Slim is an active and respected member of the Druid community, and has done a lot of work to make Calcite's Druid adapter production quality. He is also working on integrating Druid into Hive (leveraging the adapter), and it has been great to see him helping other contributors, mentoring them and reviewing their changes.
