Hello, I've noticed that Dremio implemented <https://github.com/dremio/dremio-oss/tree/master/plugins/elasticsearch> their own (calcite) adapters for ElasticSearch.
According to documentation <https://www.dremio.com/tutorials/unlocking-sql-on-elasticsearch/> those adapters support ES aggregations (lacking in calcite) plus more advanced features like date ranges or native scripting <https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/painless/current/painless-getting-started.html>. Is there a reason they're not backported / used in calcite ? More specifically is there any (technical) reason for those plugins to be developed independently ? Thanks in advance, Andrei.
