Daniel, I like what you do, and I wonder if you could reduce the level of fine details (number of colours, number of fine lines) in the logos. calcite-proposed.svg definitely looks better than the current logo. proposal2 is somewhat comparable to the current logo (since proposal2 uses colors and/or fine lines, and it makes logo barely recognizable at the small scale).
