I'm mainly working on around query compilation in Hive which highly relies on
Calcite features.
I really like working on Calcite related things - it needs a different kind of
mindset than usual.
I'm looking forward to continue contributing to the project. In the near future I plan to make some efforts to pre-integrate the latest Calcite with the most recent Hive to
uncover issues earlier than the actual releases.
I feel honored to become a committer in Calcite, I will try to get into
reviewing PRs (for which I'm confident in my knowledge)
