SQL auditing for Calcite JDBC

Hi,
I’m new to the group 😊

what is the best way to log the incoming SQL statements into my Calcite adapter 
via JDBC.
As well as to monitoring the performance.

I looked for Loggers in the code and could not found one that logs that actual 
SQL.
and nothing seems to be logged into the  predefined Tracers.
