First of all, thank you, Francis, for your year of service as chair. The project is busier than ever, and also more welcoming than ever to new members. Your personality has set the tone for the project, and your energy has driven some much-needed modernization.
I believe Stamatis would be an excellent choice, and that he should be the candidate on the ballot. I want to call out Danny Chan and Haisheng Yuan. They have been very active and helpful in the project over the past few months, have become PMC members, and maybe we should be consider them for chairs in future years.
