The XmlFunctions have the default error listener in jdk. And the default listener has two points that need to improvement: 1) As far as I know, In the different Java versions, the default listener has different behavior. (CALCITE-4799) 2) The default listener print exception by System.err. (CALCITE-4131) That's why need the PR.
