Case https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CALCITE-7857 proposes adding vector support to Calcite, and has an attached PR.
I suspect that there are several parties who would like vector support in Calcite. So, let's take the time to write a good specification, with broad consensus, before we jump into an implementation that we later regret.
