The current {{rewriteIn}} uses a LEFT JOIN to collect exact and partial-NULL
matches without reducing them to one IN result per outer row. It also treats a
NULL left-hand key as UNKNOWN without considering the complete row comparison.
I'll try using a left mark join to represent IN, with one three-valued result
per outer row, and follow up with a more concrete implementation proposal.
The current wrong-result fix remains in CALCITE-7888 and does not depend on
this proposal.
