Hadrian, Probably for the reason James said; the repos are setup such that mere mortals like myself can't just go make their own git-svn clones. Furthermore, the page at http://jukka.zitting.name/git/ says the following:
"Please contact the infrastructure-...@apache.org mailing list if you have comments or suggestions regarding this service or want to see another Apache codebase mirrored." It's really just as simple as kicking off a script. I think Jukka's already got them up at http://github.com/jukka/apache-git-mirrors/tree/master, in fact. - sston On Tue, Jan 27, 2009 at 5:07 PM, <james.strac...@gmail.com> wrote: > Any kind if mirroring or svn browser tends to place big load on > apache's servers. > > > On 27/01/2009, Hadrian Zbarcea <hzbar...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Aaron, why would infra's involvement be needed? > > Hadrian > > > > > > On Jan 27, 2009, at 10:58 AM, Aaron Crickenberger wrote: > > > >> ::sigh:: Actually, since I'm not a committer, I was wondering if one > >> of you > >> fine folks could send a request to infrastructure-...@apache.org? :) > >> > >> - aaron > >> > >> On Tue, Jan 27, 2009 at 9:31 AM, Aaron Crickenberger < > >> aaron.crickenber...@intalgent.com> wrote: > >> > >>> Great to see such support!
