Looks like a good plan. Just a few spelling mistakes made but the content is
good. For the Ruby DSL there has been some work done on it already which may
help you out

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/camel/trunk/components/camel-ruby/

Not sure how complete or working that is though...

>>> Hi,
>>>
>>>
>>> Yeah you certainly can. You should first read

>>> http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCode2009 contains the following
>>> info for students
>>>
>>> "If you (as a student) find an idea you like, we ask that you create a
>>> list of deliverables, quantifiable results for the Apache community, a
>>> detailed description / design document, an approach, an approximate schedule
>>> and something of a background text. In other words - sell yourselves, as if
>>> this was an actual job. Feel free to add a link to your proposal on this
>>> page, in the "status" field of the corresponding project description. Take a
>>> look at last year's submissions at
>>> SummerOfCode2008<http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCode2008>to get an
>>> idea of what worked and didn't. "
>>>
>>> For example, a student working on a project for Apache CXF has done up
>>> this proposal http://wiki.apache.org/general/soc2009-soapjms-proposaland
>>> added it as a status item on the wiki page here
>>> http://wiki.apache.org/general/SummerOfCode2009#cxf-project
>>>
>>> I'd recommend doing up a little proposal doc and send it to the camel-dev
>>> list (dev@camel.apache.org) so we can give some feedback before sending

>>> application to Google is April 3rd so there is not much time left! :)
>>>
>>> Good luck! Of course, you can ask me more questions personally if you'd
>>> like.
