Can we Speed up the build of Camel feature?

Hi,

I found it takes about 18 mins to build the
camel\platforms\karaf\features module.
It will check 4~6 maven repositories for every dependency module, can we
introduce some kind of cache mechanism to speed up the build of Camel
feature?
