L.S., Did you deploy the camel-spring-osgi bundle as well? Afaik, that one has some extra bits for making sure that additional components/converters/... get loaded properly in an OSGi environment. You can always have a look in http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/camel/karaf/features/2.1.0/features-2.1.0-features.xml to get a list of bundles needed for a given component (or you could switch over to Karaf, which also supports Felix and Spring DM and allows you to install Camel components with a single command ;) )
