It's fine for me Jonathan, to wait until this maven issue is fixed. The upgrade
was proposed, because between 2.3 and 2.4.2 12 bugs are fixed
[changelog|http://jira.opensymphony.com/browse/SIM?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:changelog-panel].
IMO it's a good idea to be up to date and not run into issues from third party
libraries, which are already fixed.
Waiting for for the maven fix...
