I just talked to Christian (he's on a train right now) and he said he might have a chance to look at it more tonight. Thus, I'll delay 2.8.2 builds till tomorrow to give him a chance. If he cannot get the dependency change fixed, we'll back this out tomorrow and it can be re-worked for 2.8.3.
