Sergey Zhemzhitsky commented on CAMEL-4086: ------------------------------------------- Hi Christian, I've been able to test the latest version of camel-smpp with real SMSC. Long messages were splitted as expected. At least I was able to receive joined messages on my cell phone without any issues. I have also tested the following configuration of the component: alphabet=-1, encoding=Cp1251 (cyrillic codepage). Messages were sent in English and Russian. In that case the smpp component was able to detect that the message contains non GSM characters, detected alphabet was USC2 and the original message was reencoded accordingly. So I was able to receive long (joined) multipart messages in native encoding.
